WBA JR Bantamweight Champion Joshua Franco, 17-1-2,1 NC, 8 KO’s, was very lucky to have some movers and shakers on his side to retain his title against the rightful winner, Andrew Maloney, 21-1, 1 NC, 14 KO’s. The fight was stopped when Franco’s eye was shut from a jab, but the referee called it a head butt and that was that. It was a no contest, BUT the Nevada commission had replay at their disposal and called it a head butt even though there was no head butt evident. This was a FIX! This proved corruption in boxing.
