By Chris Summerfield

It seems a Drug addiction sweeps the globe leading to a zombie epidemic, in this post apocalyptic movie written and directed by, Kevin King…

The movie…

Hunter (Martin Copping), is a loner, and just like most lead characters in zombie movies as a haunted personality with tragedy entangled. He drives around in a car that resembles the sort from the Mad Max movies. Just driving around scavenging and slaughtering zombies, reflecting upon his life and the madness that had unfolded; he is convinced he is the only human left and soon discovers he isn’t though not in the most friendly of circumstances…

Hunter wakes to discover he was shot and is in the company of a very attractive flirtatious woman named, Fast lane Debbie, (Jade Regier), who as an immediate crush upon him however as a rival, a modest, Alison (Clare Niederpruem) who begins to bond with Hunter. As regards the camp there is a mixed bunch of folks, with the leader known as, father Jesus (Danny Trejo), a tough fighting religious man that swings an axe for a weapon with deadly accuracy.

Tragedy soon strikes the camp when zombies attack, along with some kind of mutant and those that survive flee in a jeep.

The survivor’s destination being an old air field, however they would have to drive through a town that is inhabited by a murderous chainsaw maniac and if meeting him wasn’t enough there would be more zombies and mutants waiting for those that survive, meaning an explosive finale…

Okay, so as regards the gore, the movie relies mostly upon computerised graphics, though not the best however this doesn’t seem to spoil the movie in any way as it keeps on moving forward at a nice pace like most zombie apocalyptic movies do. And regards the antagonists, there are some creatures within the movie that resemble the sort of mutants within Resident Evil films in which add a little more explosiveness. However the dialogue can sometimes be too cheesy…

This movie is by no means a classic zombie film, but is watchable…

Rating… 6/10
