Dennis Hogan ROBBED: Jaime Munguia Gets Gift Decision in Mexico – DAZN Boxing News

By Geno McGahee

Dennis Hogan, 28-2-1, 7 KO’s, out-boxed Jaime Munguia, 33-0, 26 KO’s, but was fighting the hometown fighter in Mexico and would lose via majority decision by scores of 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112. The movement of Hogan and timing would baffle Munguia throughout most of the fight, but he would find some momentum with some good body work in the middle of the match.

Munguia would stop the body attack and Hogan would get his second wind and take the later rounds, including rocking him with a right hand. At the end of the fight, Hogan won the fight by the minimum of 7 rounds to 5, but there is a lot of money in the success of Munguia and this is the end result of that. Munguia was exposed and isn’t an elite fighter and Hogan was robbed.
