Musical duo Society of the Silver Cross have today unleashed their latest single, “By The Millions.” “By The Millions” is the latest track to be shared from the group’s forthcoming album Festival of Invocations, set to be released on Friday, June 14, 2024.

On the new single the duo shares, “’By The Millions’ emerged as a reflection of the uncertainty and fear that gripped us at the onset of the pandemic. Confronted with the prospect of an unknown and potentially catastrophic future, we both grappled with the overwhelming sense of isolation and abandonment. The lyrics convey our profound sense of vulnerability, as we felt like nameless shadows left to our own survival. The instrumental sections carry a lumbering quality, evoking a reluctant march of millions one by one, while amplifying the peculiar parallel of solitude amidst the shared experience. As the song concludes, it felt natural to steer the tale towards a more open, uplifting ending into a place of hope.”

Fans can stream “By The Millions” now at https://ingrv.es/by-the-millions-c5y-6.

Society of the Silver Cross embarks on a sonic odyssey with their new album Festival of Invocations. Songwriters Joe Reineke (The Meices, Alien Crime Syndicate) and Karyn Gold-Reineke lead listeners through otherworldly realms, delving into themes of life and death, beauty and darkness and transcending the veil between worlds. Their music draws listeners into a trance-like state of introspection and exploration, as embodied in this powerful new release.

Post hardcore band SeeYouSpaceCowboy have today pulled back the curtains on their highly anticipated new album Coup De Grâce. With each new single the band has a welcomed listeners into a neo-noir world of their own creation, culminating in a brand new music video for “Lubricant Like Kerosene (ft. Kim Dracula)” – watch now here: https://youtu.be/ZrO1x18Q3jI.

“This album was a chance for us to refine some of the melodic elements we had recently introduced to the band while also playing around with all things and bringing back reinvented version of past parts of our identity,” shares frontwoman Connie Sgarbossa. “The hope is that we made something that mixes the innate emotion of post hardcore with the cathartic essence of dancing and allure of cabaret/burlesque in a package reflecting the tale of a city on fire and it’s all to tragic individuals and their indulgence and woes.”

Coup De Grâce out now via Pure Noise Records and available to stream / purchase here: https://purenoiserecs.lnk.to/seeyouspacecowboy.

SeeYouSpaceCowboy recently hit the road for their spring tour with Better Lovers, Foreign Hands, and Greyhaven. The tour kicked off earlier this week in Indianapolis, with stops to follow in Albuquerque, San Diego, Seattle, Minneapolis, and more. SeeYouSpaceCowboy will also be performing at this year’s Sound and Fury Festival in Los Angeles this July. About SeeYouSpaceCowboy

Every single song SeeYouSpaceCowboy have released since forming in 2016 has been deeply rooted in the life experience and trauma of frontwoman Connie Sgarbossa. Whether that’s existential anguish, substance addiction or suicidal ideation (and attempts), Sgarbossa has never been afraid to detail her pain and torment in excruciating detail. She holds nothing back, and combined with the band’s intensely dark (and darkly intense) blend of sasscore, punk, mathcore and metalcore, it’s always made for profound and devastating listening. Coup De Grâce is no exception to that rule. The band’s third album, it follows on from 2019’s The Correlation Between Entrance And Exit Wounds and 2021’s The Romance Of Affliction. But unlike those two records, which were unadulterated, no-holds-barred accounts of her life at the time, Coup De Grâce takes a different approach to its lyrics. Rather than Sgarbossa baring her most private and innermost thoughts for all to hear, on these 12 songs they’re funneled through the lives of fictional characters within a noir-inspired world of the singer’s invention.

It makes sense, then, that the record begins with something utterly unlike anything the band has ever made before: a sax-laden, smoky, late night smooth jazz ballad. It immediately draws the listener back to a time and place that exists decades in the past, a Moulin Rouge-esque club that’s not quite in the real world—and it’s within that parallel decadent and dystopian universe, and its various buildings, that everything then plays out. That ‘everything’ is just as personal as anything the band—completed by Connie’s brother Ethan Sgarbossa (guitar/vocals), Taylor Allen (bass/vocals), Tim Moreno (guitar) and AJ Tartol (drums)—have ever released, but it manifests itself across Coup De Grâce’s 12 songs in an entirely different way than before. And with valid reason, too.

“The record started as a visual idea,” explains Sgarbossa, “because when it came to lyrics, I didn’t know what the fuck to write at first. I’m not a drug addict junkie anymore, so I’m not going to write another album like The Romance Of Affliction—I can’t, and I don’t want to. So my mind wandered to things that I love, like Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novels, where there are all these stories interlaced within a city. That led me to think about noir and neo-noir, and then pulp comics and novels from the ’40s and ’50s, which started to make it all come together lyrically and thematically, where each different song can be a different tale of the city.”

After the first minute and a bit of that opening song, however, the theatrics stop, their fuzzy, nostalgic warmth shattered by blast beats and screams, pulverizing guitars and exasperated spoken word, as the band deliver the kind of chaotic, violent noise they’re known for. And yet, as that gives way to second song “Subtle Whispers To Take Your Breath Away”, its ravaged, ferocious edges also reveal a new and surprising development in the band’s sound—a more catchy and accessible sense of melody influenced by what Sgarbossa terms “dancier indie-rock” influences like Bloc Party, Foals and Two Door Cinema Club. That came, she says, after she’d convinced, with some difficulty, the band to go with her proposed visual aesthetics for the record.

Recorded by Matt Squire at Mixwave Studios, Coup De Grâce is an album in the truest sense of the word. Wholeheartedly ambitious, it’s a graphic novel in musical form that not only succeeds in creating its own deliciously dark, noir universe, but one whose characters truly inhabit the world that SeeYouSpaceCowboy have invented for them. In fact, listening to it is more akin to watching it all unfold onstage. That’s partly due to the narration of Iris.EXE (who also appears on “Respite For A Tragic Tale”, a kind of intermission in the album’s middle), but also to the masterful execution of these songs.

Of course, it’s nothing new for the band to switch up their sound—they do that with every record—but the they’ve taken it to the next level with this one. And just as The Romance Of Affliction proved that art doesn’t always soothe suffering—Sgarbossa attempted to take her life two weeks after finishing that record—so Coup De Grâce proves that you don’t necessarily need to suffer to make great art. The singer is clean now and in a much better place than ever, but her band have also created the most ambitious, epic and accomplished album of its career.

“I hope,” she says, “that people can look at this as a complete expression—not just ‘Oh, this song has a good breakdown’, but at the whole story, the whole setting, the visuals of it all and the way the music all ties in. I hope they see the creativity of that and the risk we’ve taken by embedding Cowboy with more weirdo outside influences that you usually wouldn’t see from a band like us. It’s like a full, unified creative venture, and something we put a lot of work into, so I hope they appreciate the weirdness of it. I feel like a lot of times people hear clean singing and more melody from a heavy band and think they’re selling out. But no—we’re actually technically weirder on this record than we’ve ever been.”

With that, it’s time to put your best shoes on. You’re going to need them as you dance inside the fire.

Pop-punk powerhouse Taylor Acorn has today shared her brand new single “Greener”, out now. A vibrant and soaring track about realizing that things can be so much better than you ever imagined, “Greener” serves as a follow-up and juxtaposition to Taylor’s previous single “Gray”. Fans can watch the new music video for “Greener” now, here: https://lnk.to/tagreenermv

“‘Greener has to be one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written!” Taylor shares. “I wanted this song to capture a feeling of revelation in that ‘grass is greener’ turn of phrase that we all know — and I think the music video does a great job in showcasing it too!! We all go through struggles and tough days where we beat ourselves up emotionally, and then when the going gets good, the grass feels so much greener!!”

Taylor recently kicked off the sold-out Good Enough Tour, a month long US headline tour featuring support from World’s First Cinema. Fans can look forward to hearing “Greener” live for the first time, along with songs from Taylor’s Certified Depressant EP (2023), as she performs in Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Denver, Seattle, Austin, Pittsburgh, and more.

About Taylor Acorn

Growing up in the early 90’s & 2000’s pop punk/pop rock scene, for Taylor Acorn it was never a phase. Hailing from the small North Central Pennsylvania town of Wellsboro, Taylor had always dreamed of a career in music and in 2014, dropped out of Kutztown University to pursue just that, setting her sights for Nashville in 2017.

With her infectiously relatable releases of “Psycho”, “Certified Depressant”, and “Shapeshifting”, Taylor is now leaving her own footprint in the pop punk community giving her fans a place to feel safe and to feel heard, by tackling tough subjects such as mental health by sharing her own personal struggles. She wants to give her listeners a space where they can feel free and vulnerable, a place where healing is accepted no matter who you are or where you’ve come from.

Taylor released her EP Certified Depressant last year, earning critical acclaim from Grammy.com, The Noise / Ones To Watch, idobi Radio, RiotFest.org, Sweety High, and more.

Alien Ant Farm have released the official music video for their single “So Cold” today. Fans can watch the video HERE and stream the song on digital platforms HERE.

“So Cold” was the first taste of new music from the Southern California rock band after a long musical hibernation and is taken from the band’s upcoming new album ~mAntras~ to be released April 24, 2024 through Megaforce Records.

~mAntras~ is a record that will not only challenge your preconceptions of the band, but will also firmly reassert their place in the world. The band’s sixth full-length, it was shaped by personal change and growth, and it represents as close to a new beginning as a band first formed in 1996 can get. At the same time, it’s not a record that dismisses and disregards the past. Far from it. A record of deep contemplation, ~mAntras~ was born out of various trials and tribulations—its songs don’t just take the listener on a musical journey, but, as its title suggests, also on a personal and spiritual one.

Alien Ant Farm have encountered a lot of adversity since blowing up in 2001 with two iconic songs—first their own composition, “Movies”, and then their classic, generation-defining cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal”—but none more so between the release of Always And Forever and this record. It’s no surprise, then, that a lot of it has been captured on the 11 tracks that make up ~mAntras~. As guitarist Terry Corso puts it: “Growing up, divorce, children, family, death, band break-ups, surgeries, illness, health—everything is in this record. It’s literally a product of all the fucking shit, good and bad, that we went through.”

All of it, though, was channeled into crafting the most confident and self-assured album of the band’s career (“The manure makes the flower grow,” quips vocalist Dryden Mitchell). And despite the false start, when Alien Ant Farm felt they could pick things up again in terms of making new music, they did just that. What’s more, they found themselves thoroughly reinvigorated and re-inspired. Older and wiser and no longer as eager to please the music industry, the band really leaned into what it meant to be themselves on this album.

 Pre-Order and Pre-Save ~mAntras~ at this link: https://orcd.co/mantras

“For a band that released “Smooth Criminal”, we are a crazy prog band,” chuckles Mitchell. “If you scratch that just a couple of songs in, there’s some real goodness going on in there.”“Longevity has kind of become the luxury,” adds Corso, “because it lets us do all this stuff that we want to do. It gives us a bit wiggle room to have those prog tendencies and move in ways that feel good to us.”

Alien Ant Farm is confirmed to perform at Welcome To Rockville 2024 with the likes of Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Disturbed, Slipknot, FLYLEAF and more. The band will also perform in Ashland, KY on June 8 at Paramount Arts Center. Tickets are available at https://alienantfarm.com/

Long time friends House & Home and Suntitle are thrilled to share Split, a four song collaboration out now via Open Your Ears Records. Split features two tracks from House & Home, produced at The Bakery Recording Studios by Will Beasley (The Dangerous Summer, Handguns, Turnstile), and two from Suntitle, produced at Creep Recording Studio by Jake Clarke and mastered by Will Beasley.

“We’ve known House & Home since October of 2017 and instantly became best friends,” shares Suntitle. “They’re the best people and it kinda felt natural. We both had some songs sitting around and just decided it would be cool.”

Adds House & Home: “We’ve been close to Suntitle for over 5 years now. They’re like family. In that time Matt joined their band, Joe moved to Richmond, and we’ve just been bouncing ideas off each other for our own bands. It made too much sense to collaborate a little bit.”

About House & Home:

First forming in summer of 2017, Richmond, VA alternative rock outfit, House & Home, has been working tirelessly to carve out a place for themselves in the music scene. After relentless DIY touring and countless shows in packed basements and clubs, the group has teamed up with Open Your Ears Records to further follow the trajectory their career of the past few years has put them on.

With the release of their debut full length record, Find Sense. Feel Love. Make Light. The band has clearly held nothing back. All Ages Zine calls it “…one of the strongest releases of the year thus far,” and Spinning Thoughts praises it as “…a well balanced combination of high-energy hooks and poignant lyrics.” They’ve continued pushing their musical limits with their newest EP, Everything is Sacred, further channeling their DIY ethos and passion for their craft. This passion is more than evident in the high energy “A Familiar Direction,” the morose and emotional “Leave,” and their discography as a whole. The band continues to prove that whether you’re craving the wall-to-wall guitar tones of the Foo Fighters or the biting and intricate vocal work of Taking Back Sunday, House & Home has made a point to deliver on all fronts.

Armed with their first new music since their 2022 EP, Sydney alternative band Yours Truly return today with “Call My Name”, out now via UNFD.

Loaded with driving guitars, sleek yet potent vocals and salient hooks, “Call My Name” is as much a sharp earworm as it is a stirring exploration into self discovery, flexing a fresh new sonic shade of Yours Truly following their formidable 2022 EP is this what i look like?.

Watch the brand new music video for “Call My Name” here:

https://youtu.be/GwtYfyVxh_A?si=or3J6rLDZndWyQZ5

“‘Call My Name’ is about the internal struggles of being addicted to a person that you know is bad for you,” frontwoman Mikaila shares of their brand new single. “You turn away from all their red flags because you have so much hope that they can be the person you created in your dreams. You defend them and begin to blame yourself. I realized that we as people crave acceptance from the people who make us feel we are not enough and on the other side some people use that power to their advantage. At the end of the day you realize some things aren’t meant to be and you need to make peace with that.”

Polished, precise and hauntingly vulnerable, Yours Truly transformed their previous trademark pop punk style into a dazzling new chapter via their 2022 EP is this, is what i look like?. Armed with raw honesty and heightened influences, is this what i look like? still explored moments of pop punk and introspection, but the end result forged an amalgamation of organic yet unexpected new sounds and thematic exploration into heightened rock, emo and dance-ready sparkle woven into the established Yours Truly DNA.

From their 2020 album Self Care scooping up an ARIA nomination for Best Hard Rock or Heavy album, to the release of their genre-bending 2022 EP is this what i look like?, and appearances at UNIFY and Slam Dunk Festival, Yours Truly spent the last few years further cementing their burgeoning global presence. The band has toured Europe alongside You Me At Six, ticked off their first ever headline shows in UK, supported acts like Senses Fail, I Prevail, Pierce The Veil, Fit For A King, and Against The Current across North America, and joined Neck Deep for a national Australian tour.

Yours Truly will feature later this month at THPS25, celebrating 25 years of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater in Brisbane, with the legend himself, Tony Hawk, in appearance alongside an array of skaters and Aussie music acts. The band will also embark this March on a tour to launch “Call My Name”, performing in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.

While it’s common for musicians to express affection for their albums, this one truly stands out to me,” shares Ash Costello. “It feels like the culmination of all the hard work and growth we’ve experienced while creating our previous albums coming together. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from those songs and poured it into this record.”

She continues: One of the reasons why “Half Black Heart” is so special is because we were able to reunite with our original lineup. By adding Jeremy Valentyne, Brandon Wolfe and Trixx to the mix, we tapped into the original sound that initially defined New Year’s Day. It allowed it to evolve into an authentic representation of who we are today! The title “Half Black Heart” visually symbolizes the essence of our band. It represents the duality that has always been a part of us – half red, half black; half heavy, half poppy; half dark, half fun, half metal and half rock. We have always embraced our unique identity, but with this album, we truly harnessed the fearlessness that New Year’s Day embodies and translated it into our music.”

About the new song, Costello adds: “’Secrets’ is about something I feel we have all been through at some point. With this song, I started by confronting myself with the question, “What is truly disturbing me right now?”. The answer that echoed in my mind was simple yet profound: secrets. We’ve all experienced that unsettling sensation when we sense that someone close to us is concealing something. It’s an intuitive feeling that gnaws at our core, leaving us with a sinking sensation in our stomachs. The weight of these hidden truths can be enough to bury you. This song serves as a realization that enough is enough.”

New Years Day was recently featured on WWE NXT’s Halloween Havoc, where band performed recent singles “Vampyre” and “Hurts Like Hell”. Fans can catch New Years Day on tour now with In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills. The Kiss of Death Tour kicked off earlier this month, with upcoming stops including: Orlando, Atlanta, New York City, D.C., and more. About New Years Day:

Kerrang! Magazine counts New Years Day among an elite handful of bands inspiring the next generation. Led by “the vibrant force of nature that is frontwoman Ash Costello,” New Years Day unleash anthems of discontent and empowerment, delivered with gothic flair and theatrical bombast.

It’s a sound that crashed into the Mainstream Rock Top 40 for the first time in 2019 with a top 15 rock radio charting single “Shut Up” followed up by the cathartic “Hurts Like Hell,” which finished 2022 as one of SiriusXM Octane’s Top 25 songs of the year. Each successive victory is a celebration of hard-fought creative freedom, unstoppable determination, and dedicated fans. Throngs of diehards and newcomers alike sing and sweat along with New Years Day, at festivals, in clubs, or on tours with Halestorm, Falling In Reverse, Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills, and In This Moment.

Saints and sinners, victims and victors. In sound and vision, New Years Day walk the line between darkness and light. The band’s duality comes to fruition on Half Black Heart, an unrepentant and unashamed album championing discovery, from the darkest secrets to one’s inner strength.

Unrestrained fury collides with arena-ready glamor, confrontational DIY passion, and melodic hooks. “Hurts Like Hell,” “Vampyre,” “Bulletproof,” “Fearless,” the title track, and the rest of Half Black Heart join an already impressive catalog of songs, like “Come for Me,” “Skeletons,” “Kill or Be Killed,” and “Shut Up.” Fans have streamed “Angel Eyes” more than 14 million times on Spotify alone.

Victim to Villain (2013), Malevolence (2015), and Unbreakable (2019) deeply resonate with listeners who cherish them as timeless keepsakes, marking different times in their own personal evolution. It’s because Costello, who skillfully conjures horror and comic book aesthetics as allegory, is one of them.

In cinematic music videos, transcendent live performances, and daily interaction (virtual or in-person) with like-minded misfits, this band makes pleasure from pain. Even when it hurts like hell.

Singer/songwriter John-Robert has today shared a new music video for his latest single “Sweet Child”. Fans can watch it now here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t9NyKROIRQ. “Sweet Child” is the lead single from John-Robert’s forthcoming EP Garden Snake, a collection of songs that recall his musical roots – skillfully blurring the lines between acoustic folk and pop. Garden Snake is set to be relased on December 8th via Nice Life. To pre-save, please visit: https://johnrobert.ffm.to/gardensnake.

On the new video, John-Robert shares: “We stole shots, thrifted costuming, and made paper mache masks. We were inspired by the teletubbies and other odd ball children’s programming. Looking cute in three different locations doesn’t suit me. I’d much rather create characters, make up small storylines and create a world where my humor feels accepted. Being comfortable enough to be silly is cool to me. Bryce Glenn and Sean Cavaliere, from Good Morning Studios, made this vision a reality; along with the phenomenal team of friends we assembled.”

John-Robert will be celebrating the release of his new EP with a special release show on December 8th at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale now, here: https://bit.ly/3txzIwy.

Rock band New Years Day invites fans to join them in the world of “Vampyre” with a brand new video game-style music video – out now here. The ferocious single – a message of strength and resilience in the face of those who would drain you of both – was released late last month, marking New Years Day’s first new music since 2022’s “Hurts Like Hell”. Stay tuned for more coming soon.

On the new music video, the band shares: “’Vampyre’ possesses a grandiose quality, as if it were the score for an intense battle sequence in a majestic vampire film. This has always been my vision – a blend of Underworld and Blade! To bring this concept to life, we enlisted the remarkable talents of Matteo Santoro, a visionary in the realm of cinematic CGI. Together, we crafted the most monumental music video ever created by New Years Day. The underlying theme of the song is that the vampyre we confront symbolizes a narcissistic monster in our lives. Accordingly, the video mirrors this notion as I valiantly combat colossal vampyre creatures in order to liberate myself from their tyrannical grip. Ultimately, I emerged triumphant.”

Fans can look forward to seeing the new song live this fall as New Years Day hits the road in the US. They’ll be joining In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills on the Kiss of Death Tour, kicking off November 3rd in Gary, IN. Additional stops include: Kansas City, Milwaukee, Orlando, Atlanta, New York City, D.C., and more. Alternative pop rock band Broadside is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated new album Hotel Bleu. The news comes with new single and music video “Lucid” featuring Devin Papadol (Honey Revenge); listen now here. Hotel Bleu is set to be released on November 10th via SharpTone Records. Pre-save / pre-order the album now at https://bfan.link/hotel-bleu.

“Hotel Bleu is the natural progression from our previous records,” the band shares. “We’ve grown as men and as friends. We really focused on the live experience for some of these tracks whereas some might be better heard off alone somewhere. It’s a true record, thorough, the full experience. We are and have always been ready to be someone’s next favorite band.”

Latest single “Lucid” [feat. Devin Papadol] layers breathy vocals and neon keys atop a glitchy beat as Oliver flexes his high register on the hook, “Maybe I’ll see you in a lucid dream.”

“It’s about escaping,” he shares. “Maybe you’re getting away from a breakup or thinking of someone who passed. The idea is, ‘The only place I’ll see you is in a lucid dream, because you’re not around’.”

Broadside will be on tour this fall with This Wild Life, Worry Club, and Not My Weekend. Tour Story kicks off on November 1st, with stops in Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York, Orlando, and more. Tickets are on sale now and available at www.broadsidemerch.com

About Broadside

When you check into a hotel, you immediately step into another mindset. It may not be home, but you can still rest, nonetheless. Without knowing what happened before or what will go down after, you add to the history of each room. In the morning, you leave and essentially return to reality. Broadside explore this phenomenon on their fourth full-length album, Hotel Bleu [SHARPTONE]. The trio—Oliver Baxxter [vocals], Domenic Reid [guitar], and Patrick Diaz [bass]—architect a thema8c vision as expansive and engaging as their seismic and soaring alternative pop hooks. After posting up north of 100 million cumulative streams and building a devout audience, the band deliver their boldest, brightest, and biggest body of work yet.

“On tour, there’s nothing like a hotel,” notes Oliver. “Whether you have the most amazing or worst show of your life, the best part of the evening is getting a good night’s sleep once all of the endorphins run down. In terms of the concept for Hotel Bleu, every room is a different headspace. All of the songs are separate stories in this one place. They’re open for interpretation, but there’s a song for every type of person.”

Broadside have consistently captivated and enraptured audiences since their emergence in 2010. They’ve organically progressed over the course of albums such as Old Bones [2015], Paradise [2017], and Into The Raging Sea [2020]. Of the latter, UPSET proclaimed, “This collection of songs is Broadside laying it all out on the table,” while Hysteria predicted, “Their big break is only around the corner; with their next album sure to cement them as a pop rock headliner to look out for.” It also yielded fan favorites such as “Heavenly,” which generated 13.9 million Spotify streams and counting.

In order to bring Hotel Bleu to life, they collaborated with producers Andrew Wade [A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, Motionless In White] in Florida and Andrew Baylis [Jelly Roll, Sleeping With Sirens] in Nashville.

They initially paved the way for the album with “One Last Time” and “Cruel” [feat. Brian Butcher], piling up millions of streams. Opening up this world further, the single “Bang” [feat. Josh Roberts] glides along on an upbeat bounce powered up by a sunny guitar riff and disarmingly confessional chorus, “Bang bang, the reaper’s at my door, and I don’t want to run anymore.”

“The song has a great energy, and it’s a good time,” he says. “So many people have struggled over the last couple of years. I found myself not wanting to have conversations with anybody, ask for help, or even talk to my mom. So, the feeling is, ‘If depression or the reaper comes back, I’m going to let him kill me’. It’s a pop song in this moody and dark headspace where you’re embracing depression. There’s depth, but it’s catchy, which is what I’m trying to accomplish with the band.”

The album builds towards the tender exhale of the title track. Anchored by airy acoustic guitar, it culminates on a moment of stark honesty as he sighs, “Forever without you is a different shade of blue.”

“I wrote it for my fiancéA,” he goes on. “There’s been a song for her on every album. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was going through chemo. I was sitting with her every day. It was fucking with my head that I had tours coming up. I had already missed one of her appointments because I was on the road. Real life was happening. She had a double mastectomy, and the cancer was removed right before her 29th birthday. The lyrics are about the process of watching her going through this. I just hope the song connects.”

In the end, you might not want to leave Hotel Bleu after you check in.

“I’d like for Broadside to be your favorite band after this record,” he leaves off. “We’re trying to grow into the band we always wanted to be. I feel like we did.”
